Cole Garside is an internationally recognized photographer with over a decade of experience photographing foreign and domestic advertisements, politics, current affairs, and social humanitarian campaigns through documentary and editorial styles of photography, encompassing various forms of digital media and publishing content.
Currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Cole’s understanding and execution of imagery has taken him across the globe, working directly with accredited publications, companies, charities and NGO’s such as Maclean’s Magazine, The United Nations, Habitat for Humanity, The International Organization for Migration, The Ottawa Citizen and an array of Canadian based energy and industrial brands relying on strong imagery to convey their messages.
Most recently, Cole’s work on Syrian refugee migration in Canada was selected and added to the permanent collection in the Canadian Museum of History in recognition of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
Cole’s approach stems from an interest in creating new and exciting viewpoints through traditional methods of photography and design. With this approach, every project is met with a unique understanding of digital imagery, branding, message narration and trend marketing to meet any possible direction or vision we may have towards building a solid showcase of current and exciting styles capturing the dynamic energy needed to create images that make us look twice.
